Thirsty Thursdays

One of my favorite cocktails is an Island Breeze Martini. I always order this from one of my favorite local watering holes, and every single time I drink it- I literally float away to San Souci, Jamaica (where we went on our honeymoon). It. is. to. die. for.

Island Breeze Martini
-1 ½ ounces coconut rum (Captain Morgan's Parrot Bay preferred)
-1 ounce pineapple juice
-A splash of grenadine in an ice-filled shaker
-Shake well and strain into a chilled martini glass
-Garnish with a fresh pineapple slice
